DIY- T-shirt Loop Scarf

Hello all,

Here I am sitting in my creative chamber watching last nights amazing episode of Glee, when I realized I haven't done a DIY tutorial in months and months. I have lots of them all saved up in my computer but haven't shared them with the universe. So please enjoy this little fun project.

Take an old t-shirt of any color. I bought this beauty at the local thrift store for a dollar. Make sure the shirt does not have seams on the sides.

Cut the shirt from armpit to armpit and throw away.

Cut 1 inch strands side to side. This will make loops of fabric.

Cut the rest of the shirt into strands. When you are done cutting strands take each loop and rap around hand and pull.

Once you pull the strands they will look like this.

Wrap around the neck twice to make a fun little t-shirt loop scarf.

Dirty Thirty (+1)

Countdown has commenced for my Sex and the City theme birthday party. Seriously, how lucky am I that my birthday lands on the same week as the opening of the greatest movie of all time??? Meant to be, I think so!

So as we get closer and closer to the 30th, I really have to buckle down to create my Carrie inspired outfit. So far, I bought some fake herrrr at the flea market in Georgia. I also have some leaves that I am going to rig to make a giant flower. So in the spirit of fashion and all that is Carrie, here are some images to wet your palette and get you pumped for the new movie and my birthday!!!

Adventures in the Dirty South

Last week was magical! I spent 5 whole days with my college partner in crime, Crystal. We laughed, we danced, we ate, we met Jerry Rice. My travels started in Greeneville took me to Atlanta and ended in DC. So here is my trip in images.... Enjoy.
