Musical Sunday Funday

I have been on a musical expedition as of late, scouring the internet airwaves, the awesome secret music blogs that I keep like a beautiful treasure chest and exchanging cd's with my sista-from-anotha-mista, Starry Eyed Charlie. Cleaning out Kissmekoko's Closet

My new couch arrived. It is the prettiest couch ever! My husband has a very strong opinion that it is the ugliest couch ever, but he does not see beauty in things that have age and have many stories behind them. I love it, don't you agree???

It needs a little love and a little cleaning, but it will be perfection when I am done.

Which brings me to my newest change in lifestyle. I am going to give Matt all my credit cards today. I was going through my closet and crafts and realized... I AM HOARDING!!!! My room is jam packed with tons of awesomeness, but I keep buying and buying new projects and never finishing old projects! Anyone who knows me, knows that hoarding is a family tendency, so I have to be uber-careful to not let thoses way sneak into my lifestyle. So, as of today, I am broke as a joke, unless I clean house. Starting this week, every Sunday is "Cleaning house at Kissmekoko." I can't wait to find new homes for some of these amazing items.

Re-Design a la Kiss Me Koko

Oh my!!! I feel like it has been ages since I last wrote on Kissmekoko. So many new things have been happening in my world and I have not been so good to my wonderful blog. I got a new job! I am running a cosmetics boutique and get to meet all kinds of amazing people everyday! I have been crazy in love with Matty and trying to spend time with him, but sometimes there are not enough hours in the day. And my sista-from-another-mista and I have made it a mission to find every single amazing thrift store there is in fine Vegas. We have been coming up with the most unbelievable finds!

Back in USA

Oh my, I am finally back from our trip to Poland and Germany. I had the loveliest of lovely times. Poland was a page taken from a Brothers Grimm tale. BEAUTIFUL! I would like to share some stories in the next couple of weeks along with some images I took. So I hope I don't bore you. Also, I will be starting back up on my normal blogging. I have found some amazing little treasures, that I can't wait to brag about! Ok, so for today, I leave you with some images from my trip.

Mimi has been a busy bee

I know, I know! I am the world worst blogger. I have been neglecting my blogging duties, but I promise that I have been extra busy lately. I have some big news to share after my trip to Poland, which starts this Thursday. For now, I would love to share my new favorite thing... picture that I took of Baby Jameson. He is perfection, he is sweet, he makes little squeaky noises, he is teeny weeny and he is my new little nephew via my dear friend Brandi. I can't wait to have a little one of my own!

DIY- Fabulous Dress Accessory

I wanted to share a fun way to Carrie Bradshaw a simple dress. Have fun and make the world prettier one dress at a time !

Step 1:

I bought these beautiful beaded leaves from Pier 1 Imports. They cost about 8 bucks each. Odd numbers work best.

Step 2:

I took the stems off of the leaves with scissors.

Step 3:

I got my trusty glue gun out and started heating up that sucker.

Step 4:

Arrange your leaves before gluing.

Step 5:

Glue each leaf together.

Step 6:

Your all done!

Step 7:

Pin your new beautiful accessory to your simple cocktail dress and enjoy! I chose to pin it to my strapless tube dress.
